Drop off and Pick Up

Your child’s safety is our primary concern, and our drop-off and pick up procedures are designed with this in mind.  An adult who is on the authorized signature list must sign your child in and out every day on the ProCare kiosk using your personal pin code. 

School opens sharp at 7:30 a.m. and must close by 6:00 p.m. your child MUST be dropped off at the Center by 10 am. This rule is very important, in order to make sure that all of the children benefit from the daily classroom routine/activities, the classrooms are properly staffed. The parent must notify the teacher of the child's presence. At the time of drop-off, take time to help your child put his or her belongings away and get into the classroom.  This is an important transition time for the child and helps develop a routine and trust.  Please don’t start your child’s day off by rushing out of the Center without saying goodbye to avoid tears. 

If your child needs help separating from you, the staff is willing to assist. For safety reasons, please inform the teacher and/or the director that someone else will be picking up your child.  You can also write a note in the notebook by the ProCare kiosk.  Please advise the person picking up your child that they will need to show picture identification if they have not previously picked up your child from the Center.  Please give that person your ProCare pin code to sign your child out.



A CHILD SHOULD NEVER BE DROPPED OFF IN THE OFFICE TO FIND HIS OR HER OWN WAY INTO THE CLASSROOM.  IN ADDITION, A CHILD MUST NEVER BE LEFT IN AN UNATTENDED ROOM IN THE CENTER.  MAKE SURE THAT THE TEACHER OR TEACHER’S ASSISTANT IS AWARE OF YOUR CHILD’S PRESENCE.



Ensure your morning drop off is quick and efficient since our parking is limited; be considerate of those waiting. 5-minute drop-off must be strictly observed due to severe congestion and safety issues. Use only one parking spot and do not park between lines or double park.  Do not let your child/children run loose in the parking lot, exercise utmost caution.

Please ensure the gate is securely closed when entering and leaving school.

Attendance Rules

  • Children should not be sent to school if they are ill. Parents must inform the school of a student’s absence by 9:00 a.m.  If a student is absent by 3 or more days, a Doctor’s note and clearance must be provided.

  • All excused absences must be verified by a telephone call or a note from the parents.  If assignments are needed while the student is absent from school, please contact the respective teacher giving them time to prepare the work.


Late Pick Up

School closes promptly at 6:00 p.m. Children must be picked up by 5:55 p.m. Please give yourself time to pick up your children and their belongings, for our staff to close the school and leave for the day.  The late fee of $1.00 for every minute strictly applies and must be paid at the time of pick up to the person in charge
